Privacy Policy
Hole is a visual tab management extension. It runs locally in Chrome and does not transmit browsing data to a remote server.

Data Collection
Hole does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal information. The extension does not operate a remote analytics service, does not use remote code, and does not send browsing history, tab content, or user activity to the developer or to third parties.
Local Browser Data
To provide its tab wheel interface, Hole processes browser tab information locally inside Chrome, including tab title, URL, favicon, tab group state, active tab state, and basic idle state.
Hole may save local preferences with Chrome storage, such as selected theme, group lock state, wheel rotation, return target, and other UI state. This data stays in the user's browser unless Chrome sync or browser settings move it as part of Chrome's own storage behavior.
Permissions
- tabs: list, activate, create, and manage tabs in the visual wheel.
- tabGroups: create and control the purple Hole tab group.
- storage: save local preferences and UI state.
- favicon: show each tab's original site icon in the wheel.
- scripting: restore the Hole overlay on pages when needed.
- alarms and idle: run local maintenance and idle-tab cleanup.
- all URLs: display the Hole overlay on pages opened by the user.
Third Parties
Hole does not share data with advertising networks, analytics providers, data brokers, or external servers controlled by the developer.
